Galeras
Nariño is in southwest Colombia just above the Equator; remarkable mountains and 5 volcanoes captivate the eye. The volcanic ash in the soil is rich in nutrients and contributes to a much healthier plant and a higher complexity in the cup.
With one of the highest elevations for Colombian coffee production, temperatures are cooler, thus allowing for more gradual cherry maturation and an accumulation of sugars.
