Finca El Alto Coffee
Finca El Alto is located in Huila, Colombia, it's run by husband and wife, Hector Osorio and Adriana Aldana. Hector and Adriana run a beautiful farm, that produces beautiful, consistent coffees. The varieties, elevation and processing lend to some of the sweetest coffees in the region.
This particular lot is made up of Caturra, Typica and a small amount of Yellow Bourbon. The coffee is fermented for 24 hours in cherry, de-pulped and then dry fermented for an additional 40 hours in the fermentation tank. Once the coffee is washed, it is taken to dry in greenhouse driers for anywhere from 12-20 days, depending on the climate.
