El Diviso, Single Origin
Cupping Notes: Apple and Caramel
Rooted in three generations of coffee-growing tradition, Finca El Diviso is a family farm where heritage meets innovation. Founded by José Uribe Lasso and now led alongside his son Nestor, the farm has earned national and international recognition, including 6th place in the Cup of Excellence and 3rd place at Navel Lot Chicago in 2024. With a passion for specialty coffee that began at just 14 years old, Nestor has helped transform the family farm through innovative fermentation techniques and a dedication to exceptional flavor.
This Caturra coffee is carefully handpicked at peak ripeness and undergoes 12 hours of controlled anaerobic fermentation before being washed and slowly sun-dried. The result is a beautifully balanced cup with notes of crisp apple and rich caramel, reflecting the family's thoughtful approach to processing and their passion for bringing out the best in every harvest.
